Assessor' Office Property Tax
Property
	The property tax system comes complete with full and complete documentation that can be Downloaded. The property module provides tools for the assessor's office to track all real and personal property in the county. Values are carried for the Current tax year and the Next Tax year, thus allowing ongoing reappraisal. The assessor module processes all ownership changes, Merges, and Splits of the Real property. The system comes with full on-Line help and user documentation that may be Downloaded. The help file is a HTML file that can be viewed with any browser and has samples of all screens and reports.
Property Type and Classification
	The entire program is table driven allowing property classification and property type codes by multiple taxing or school districts. Multiple Properties belonging to the same owner are grouped by Taxpayer ID and can be reviewed as a group. Online-Real Time communications with the Treasurer or Finance module allows for inquiry as to the Tax Bill and Payment history by Taxpayer or parcel. The software has an interface to the reappraisal module as written by Microsolve. Revisions to all files are stored in an audit trail file, with operator Id, Date, Time, Old Data and New Data. The system calculates the tentative next year tax by using the most recent tax rate and current valuation. All property can be accessed by or Searched by Legal Description, Street Address, Property Code, Property Type, Property Class, and Owner Name. Prior years Tax Bills and Payment history can be stored for 5 to 10 years or more depending on storage availability.
Reporting
	The system creates all reports as required by New Mexico Statute and commonly required by the typical New Mexico Assessor's Office. These include; Notice of Value, Tax Schedule, Abstract of Value, Warrant of Value, Owner Property List. The ownership changes are interfaced to the Clerk's Indexing recording and filing module if both offices are on the system. This allows tracking of Deeds, Mortgages, Liens, Releases and other official documents relating to property.
State Reports and Forms
	The system also prepares many other State of New Mexico required forms such as Mobile Home Transfer and Movement, Livestock Transfer and Movement. Livestock and Mobile home taxes may be paid in advance before allowing the asset to leave the county.
